I want to love these because they look great in my kitchen, but when I upgraded from much cheaper counter stools to these, I had high expectations based on the price point. The leather and wood seems to be great quality, however, the seat design is really not comfortable for a small-mid size person. You feel like you’re sliding forward instead of being secure in the seat. My old solid wood (much cheaper) counter stools were more comfortable with a flat “non-floating” seat base. You can really only sit on these when sitting straight on because of the wood base which I did not fully realize would be an issue to consider. They are also not very heavy which I was expecting based on the price point. We have not had any issues yet with tipping over, but I could see it being an issue with kids climbing on them. Overall, I plan on keeping them and am impressed with Hati Home as a company, but I would not repurchase.
